Ours is a path of mystical Christianity focussed upon self-realisation and personal liberation. Studies centre upon Scripture, both the traditional and newly discovered Gnostic Gospels, Christian Kabbalah, spiritual living and meditative practice. As exemplified by the life and teachings of Yeshua (Aramaic for Jesus), our Community values all beings, and therefore welcomes with respect all those who come with an open and true heart.

Gender, sexual orientation, creed, colour and age are superficial characteristics of the great cross-section of humanity on this, our shared planet. Sophians reject their use as weapons of exclusion and discrimination, both actions of an unloving heart.

Although we certainly welcome all those with a genuine interest in Gnostic Christianity we do not see our tradition as the path for everyone. Therefore, whilst our tradition may resonate positively with many seekers, we recognise there are other traditions which may prove of more help to some.
